Creativity through Art

Aim

Creativity is the basic instinct of all of us. Even the smallest of activities like walk, talk, the way we eat, the way we dress up to most important like giving exams, presenting an event/party,  involve creativity. And we use this instinct for survival as well as flourishing in life. We just don’t know that whatever we do creativity is there in small or large proportion.

So if we know we have it, then why not use it to our benefit? Why not make friends with it and nurture it? The aim of this workshop is to let you discover and shake hands with your own creativity. You discover it yourself. Once you partner with this friend, you will be amazed to see amount of creativity you can add in your life from day to day activities to long term goals.

Create. Creation allows sense of fulfillment . When you create something new, something original, it will give you immense pleasure only when you do not focus on the end result. You just get totally indulged in process of creation. The process engrosses you, helps you unwind and enjoy without burdening you about the end result. Studies show the most happy people are the people who love what they do, not what they achieve as end result. They eventually create something outstanding because they do not focus on the end result but they simply enjoy the process of doing itself.

The creativity automatically energizes the person that it will radiate from within. More people can get inspired if you share your creativity with them. We share, we collaborate and enrich and energize others, that way we inspire each other. Your creativity will inspire us too.

What is in store for you?

There are no boundaries for exploring your creativity. The possibilities are limitless. In our workshop we do it with the help of art. Together we experiment and experience with the set of activities to grasp and enrich our own creativity.

You will be able to be more creative in your endeavors. There will be complete freedom from the preset notions. You can broaden the imaginative power within you.  You will be able to enjoy the process instead of worrying about the results. You will discover that, If you enjoy the process, the result will be good.

The Method of Workshop

We expose you to visual art medium : colour.

Focus on process of creation (Creative Process) than the end product

Interdisciplinary approach :

Exploring new areas: People good at painting explore other area. People from other area try painting.

Allow more than one senses to create : music(Sound) and painting(Visual) , Visual and Language

We have designed set of activities which help you discover, create, enjoy and inspire.

     Use method of self learning and discovery by handling/playing/painting with colour

     Testing Spontaneity/Creativity : Random colour – Random shape

     Destroy and Create something new : you can explore your creativity using various mediums like visual, language by creating collage art. This collage art can be collage of visual artifacts, or collage of words transformed into poem/story

 Feeling the medium by interacting with it, by interplaying with colours in various acts like war, dance, race, walk etc
